The Department of National Security of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations, kindly invites for book launch and discussion of Routledge Handbook of the Future of Warfare.

The event will proceed in two parts. In the first one, prof. Artur Gruszczak, co-editor of the volume, will present his experiences and share practical comments and tips on preparing the publication project and on cooperating with Routledge publishing house. He will also talk about the behind-the-scenes of the book's edition and publication, the creation of a team of authors and cooperation with this 50-person international group of scholars.

In the second part of the meeting, the authors of chapters in the Routledge Handbook of the Future of Warfare, who are also members of the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University, will share their reflections on the present and future of wars and warfare. The invited speakers are: prof. Artur Gruszczak (on postmodern war), prof. Łukasz Kamieński (on military neuroenhancement), prof. Marek Czajkowski (on war in outer space) and Dr. Paweł Ścigaj (on dehumanization and savage wars).

The debate will be facilitated by Prof. Artur Gruszczak, Chair of National Security, Institute of Poltiical Sciences and International Relations.
