On the 20th of May 2019 the Oxford debate took place at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. It was organized by the Chair of Studies on Integration Processes within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair EUCRIS project. The thesis of the debate was the following: Brexit will weaken the European Union.

On 15 May 2019 in the Auditorium Maximum in Kraków a debate between candidates for the European Parliament from the Małopolska and Świętokrzyskie constituency took place. The debate was attended by: Bawer Aondo-Akaa (Kukiz'15, No. 9 on the list); Maciej Gdula (Wiosna No. 1 on the list); Adam Jarubas (Koalicja Europejska, No. 2 on the list); Paweł Kukiz-Szczucinski (Kukiz'15, No. 1 on the list); Róża Thun (Koalicja Europejska, No. 1 on the list); Lilija Twardosz (Wiosna No. 10 on the list). The moderator of the discussion was prof. dr hab. Zdzisław Mach, Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies.

On April 24, 2019, in the building of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University at Krupnicza Street 33a, a nationwide scientific conference entitled "Summary of the 8th term of office of the European Parliament. Successes and failures" took place. It was organized by the Chair of Studies on Integration Processes of the Jagiellonian University under the Jean Monnet Chair EUCRIS project, led by prof. dr hab. Janusz Węc. Its aim was to present the most important achievements, but also the failures of the European Parliament in 2014-2019, as well as to present the principles of its functioning and relations with other institutions of the European Union.

On May 17, 2019, Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University held the 3rd meeting of the Consortium of Departments of Strategic Studies. Initiated by three professors, prof. dr. hab. Michał Chorośnicki (Jagiellonian University), prof. dr. hab. Roman Kuźniar (University of Warsaw) and prof. dr. hab. Sebastian Wojciechowski (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), the series of meetings is exclusive and hosted at alternating locations..

International conference "Crisis of the contemporary security system: in search of a new international order" in Lviv

On April 4-5 this year An international conference "Crisis of the contemporary security system: in search of a new international order" was held in Lviv. The conference was organized at the Faculty of International Studies of the Ivan Franko State University as part of a consortium with the Polish Association for International Studies, the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, The East European State Higher School in Przemysl and the Center for International Security and Partnership in Lviv.
