A joint research project of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations with the Military Institute of Armament Technology

We kindly inform you that a research project “Contemporary military operations - conditions, experiences and the perspectives for changes on the battlefield” - was started in November 2020. The project is financed within the resources of Own Research Fund of the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Zielonka. The research team consists of scholars of both the Chair of National Security of the Jagiellonian University and the Military Institute of Armament Technology.

We are proud to announce that Wydawnictwo Sejmowe (the Sejm Publishing House) has published a monograph entitled European Integration - Polish perspective written by 24 outstanding specialists in European integration and the European Union in Poland. The editors of the monograph are professors Zbigniew Czachór (UAM), Tomasz G.Grosse (UW) and Waldemar Paruch (UMCS). One of the expert opinions titled The European Union at a historic turning point. Current challenges and scenarios of overcoming them has been written by prof. dr hab. Janusz Węc, head of the Chair of Studies on Integration Processes and the Jean Monnet Chair at the Institute of Political Science and International Relations.

On October 27, 2020, the final of the Teaching Slam 2020 competition took place at the Jagiellonian University. It aimed at improving the quality of teaching at the Jagiellonian University and presenting best practices in student's education.
