We encourage you to participate in the free international summer school "In Between?", which focuses on the study of border areas in contemporary Europe and their complicated history and memory.

The project will take place on September 2-13, 2024 in Poland, Estonia and Finland.

Students will take part in workshops on oral history, audio recording and creating podcasts. Then, the participants will be divided into two groups, each of which will go to one of the border regions - the Estonian-Finnish maritime border or Masuria. During week-long study trips, they will learn about the history and uniqueness of the regions through guided tours, meetings with local experts and interviews with locals. Students will present the results of their research in the form of a short artistic podcast.
We invite students of humanities and arts, aged 18-26, to submit applications.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 5, 2024.
