The Institute of Political Science and International Relations of Jagiellonian University cordially invites to a lecture of Col. Ph.D. Ispas Lucian from Land Forces Academy "Nicolae Balcescu" in Sibiu, Romania. A title of the lecture is: Post-conflict operations. Related issues.  The lecture will be held on Tuesday 17th March 2015 14:00-17:00 and continued on Wednesday 18th March 2015 14:15-16:15, Aula Small – Auditorium Maximum, Krupnicza 33 st. The lecture will be delivered in English. 

On 17th March the lecture will begin with the presentation of the Land Forces Academy history, programs and possibilities for students to apply for ERASMUS+ exchange at the academy. In 2014 The Land Forces Academy in Sibiu and Jagiellonian University  signed an ERASMUS+ agreement and a visit of Col. Ph.D. Ispas Lucian is the first one within the Staff Exchange Program.

Col. Ph.D. Ispas Lucian has obtained a Master's Degree in International Relations (2005) and a Ph.D. in Military Sciences and Intelligence (2013). In 2004 and 2005 he was deployed in Afghanistan as an Afghan National Army training expert. At the Land Forces Academy in Sibiu his teaching activity concerns military science and art of warfare, military geography, stability and support operations.
