The staff of the Chair of Contemporary History at the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations took an active part in organizing a conference: “Krakow Press on the 100th Anniversary of Independence”, which took place in November at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences.

 The staff of the Chair of Contemporary History, apart from participating in thematic sessions, were the creators of the exhibition titled: “Press for Independence”. The custodian of this exhibition was Prof. Mirella Korzeniewska-Wiszniewska.
