Basic information

I. Studying at the Institute of Political Science and International Relations means:

  • best lecturers

II. There are three attractive fields of study available at the first and second cycle programmes of studies, with many specialisations:

Please be informed these study programmes are offered in Polish—to undertake these programme sknowledge of Polish language at least at sufficient level is required and will be verified upon application. If you do not speak Polish you can enrol in one of Polish language courses offered by Jagiellonian University School of Polish Language and Culture.   • Political Science - the only Polish institute of political studies that has been recognised by the European CHE Excellence Ranking, and received an award from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

  1. st cycle degree (BSc, undergraduate) - specialities: political communication and consulting, political institutions and governance
  2. nd cycle degree (MSc, postgraduate) - specialities: analysis of politics, poltics and media
  1. st cycle degree (undergraduate) - specialities: national security, contemporary diplomacy
  2. nd cycle degree (MSc, postgraduate) - specialities: global and regional studies, strategic studies
  1. ​1st cycle degree (undergraduate) - specialities: analytical and intelligence security, internal security
  2. 2nd cycle degree (MSc, postgraduate) - specialities: security and public order, crisis management

A person qualified for a second -cycle entry selects one of the specialization paths offered in a given field of study before starting study (informs about the selection when making an entry in the unit) and continues it until the end of the second degree studies, implementing all subjects assigned to a given path.
