New authorities of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University

We are happy to inform you that according to the Statute of the Jagiellonian University, Rector of the Jagiellonian University, Prof. dr hab. Jacek Popiel appointed a new composition of the Authorities of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University, which included:

• Dr hab. Adrian Tyszkiewicz - Head
• Dr hab. Piotr Bajor - Deputy head for General and International affairs
• Dr Edyta Chwiej - Deputy Head for Educational Affairs.

The nominations appointing the new authorities of the units of the Faculty of International and Political Studies, on behalf of Mr. Rector Prof. Jacek Popiel, were submitted by the Dean of WSMiP, Dr hab. Paweł Laidler, prof. of UJ, during a meeting on September 8.. During the meeting, Dean Paweł Laidler congratulated the assembled people on the appointment to the authorities of the units and wished them good luck and success in managing them.

Dean Laidler also presented the most important priorities related to the development of the Faculty, including in particular the enhancement of the quality and internationalization of scientific research, improvement of the quality of education, as well as improvement of communication and further integration of the Faculty's community. The strategic directions of development outlined by the Dean were then developed and detailed by the Vice-Dean for Science and Internationalization Dr hab. Dorota Pietrzyk-Reeves, prof. of UJ, Vice-Dean for Didactic Affairs Dr hab. Ewa Trojnar, prof. od UJ and the Vice-Dean for HR and Finance Dr. hab. Dariusz Niedźwiedzki, prof. of UJ.

We congratulate the new Autohorities of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations and wish them good luck and success in the next term of office.

At the same time, we would like to thank the former Authorities under the direction of Prof. dr. hab. Robert Kłosowicz and all Employees involved in the management of the Institute for their work and dedication to our unit in recent years.
