The public defense of doctoral dissertation Contemporary Ideas of the Extreme Right in Germany, prepared by the graduate of the Institute, dr Agata Kałabunowska, under supervision of dr hab. Piotr Kimla, took place on the 5th of November 2019. The defense concluded the realisation of the project of the same name, funded by the National Science Centre in Poland as part of the 6th edition of the Etiuda competition (project number 2018/28/T/HS5/00335). This funding enabled the PhD student of our Institute to conduct research on contemporary far right thought in Germany, including a six-month research stay at the Hannah Arendt Institute for Research on Totalitarianism in Dresden under supervision of prof. Uwe Backes.
