Conference "60 years of the Constitution of the Fifth French Republic. Constitutionalism – doctrines – parties"
On October 5, 2018, the Chair of Constitutionalism and Government Systems, in academic partnership with the Department of the History of Political Doctrines and Movements of the University of Warsaw and the Chair of Political and Legal Doctrines of the University of Łódź, and under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University and the French Embassy in Poland, organized a conference 60 years of the Constitution of the Fifth French Republic. Constitutionalism – doctrines – parties.
The conference was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies, Professor Zdzisław Mach; Consul General of France, Messr. Frédéric de Touchet, and a representative of the Polish Embassy in France, Dr. Andrzej Stolarek, who has read a letter of the Polish Ambassador to France, Professor Tomasz Młynarski. The speakers included a number of eminent experts on the subjects of French constitutionalism and political system, such as Professors Adam Jamróz and Kazimierz M. Ujazdowski. The papers focused on the subjects of the French constitutional and governmental system, its evolution and practical functioning, as well as the French party and political system.
