On March 8, 2018, the Department of National Security of the Institute of Political Science and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University organized a scientific seminar "Access to firearms and ammunition and the safety of citizens". The seminar was devoted to the issues of access to firearms and ammunition in the context of growing challenges and security threats and accompanying social trends as well as political and legal projects regarding both liberalization and restrictions on access to weapons and ammunition.
